The Eternal Twilight is a cross-border post-rock/ambient project of rare calibre that puts to shame many metal bands in the Indian subcontinent. Starting off slowly with sounds of birds chirping, Everything Resembles You picks up beautifully, resounding beats and cymbals awakening the senses after a night of deep sleep in a tent set up somewhere along the footsteps of the Himalayas. Soft, garbled vocals that are more an audible expression of feeling than of purposeful communication add soul to the distant, floating music. Throughout its length of a quarter hour, the music, through the lens of the mind, seems to forever find focus drifting in its safe, dreamlike state, while you wish it never does, which would mean you having to return to the harsh, in-your-face reality.
