I often judge a band by their name afore even hearin' a tune, so I wrongfully classified this Netherlands act as yet another stagnant slam-crew! There are no listless chugs or zestless gravs to dullify your senses here though, cause this is gelatinous, odorous Goregrind, featurin' fast smashery twinned with delicious sticky grooves, all soppin' wet with irresistible dual-vokill slobber! Devoured Flesh Regurgitation is essentially a fun thing, providin' us with a series of enjoyable Gore skits, most of which involve unnervin' the listener with chaotic flurry of blurry Grindcore mayhem, blastin' along gaily until imposin' appendages of lurchin' palm-muted Gore-menace emerges from the murk, the two often connected via greasy streaks o' Mincecore fuzz.

With its tired ol' strings saggin' and pick-ups all scraped ‘n' scuffed, the guitar has been fashioned into a primitive tool for mindless yet somehow rhythmic battery, here utilised for the purposes of anvil-like chug-block throttle and infectious wasp-like riff-stings, along with plenty of ambitiously expeditious bits. Although they're performed at a suitably high-speed, they're also played at an even higher level of slop, which makes it tricky to decipher exactly what the musicians are attempting to express before the subsequent or concludin' phrase slaps you with filth. Of course, murky, high-speed disorientation is a feature of all Grinds and whether or not you manage to overcome it, it still remains all part of the fun!! The drummin' is very appropriate for this sort o' Gore, ‘cos it futher obfuscates the slipshod fast bits with more mishandlement of speed, but underlines the catchiness of the groovier parts, carrying the stocky riffs with aplomb. The vokills are provided by a kind o' fleshy, two-headed organ-heap, with exposed intestinal fissures for mouths, one of which bellows out spirited, chesty roars, whilst the other sluggishly oozes repulsively moist flatus.

This stuff shows a strong predilection for vintage Grindcore and Goregrind, takin' cues from a record collection that includes some wellworn Blood albums, a beloved copy of Chapter of Accidents by Dead Infection, a stack of early Earache releases, a smatterin' o' Agathocles and a big ol' smelly ol' pile o' ol' RGTE! Naturally, these influences are enormously common among their contemporaries, particularly their fellow countrymen, so the work bears more than a few similarities to other fun Dutch Gore as (old) LDOH, Rompeprop, Cliteater and Bile.

Despite it's slapdash recordin', haphazard mixin', non-existent masterin' and mediocre overall sound quailty, the production job is ideal, ‘cos it adds yet more stinkin' filth to this collection of basement Goregrind larks. With its brightness ‘n' presence wrung out tightly and gain shoved up high, the guitar sound is nothing more than a red-hot low-end roar, stingin' your eyesockets with its acrid waveforms. The drums often sound boxy ‘n' flat, and seem to be obscured towards the back o' the mix, while the vokills, especially those that are pitchshifted, are liberally splattered right over the top o' the mix, and gush right out of the filthy fuzz ‘n' crackle and glue onto your face like vomited gastro-intestinal bubblegum.

Overall then, this charmin' Dutch Goregrind has a good balance of booty-wigglin' groove and bonce-jigglin' speed, with half shouty-arsed, half flabby arsed vokills, carefree sound production and a thick ‘n' pungent feel. If you're a fan o' fun Netherlands Gore, or just like jolly groovy Grind that doesn't take itself seriously, then there is little or nothing to prevent you from derivin' some sort o' entertainment from Bones, Flesh and Partysnacks. An enjoyable heap o' tripe.
