What is this? Released right after their second full length Reticulated, the Emeth material on this split conveniently features three songs from that album. To make it worse for someone who has spent his money partly or more because of Emeth's side of the split, their songs here have an egregious production that makes them sound slightly better than noise even to these seasoned ears. It is only when they resort to chugging from their unrelenting brutal blast-fest that you get some relief, especially in “Fallacy of Reason” where do they it in the imperious style of Morbid Angel. Otherwise whatever technical qualities Emeth showcased on Reticulated including the fireworks on the title track here are pretty much drowned under the weight of the objectionable sound. Only the hi-hat sound consistently manages to pierce through and that is nothing to be happy about because it is sharp, tinny and annoying.
As it turns out, these tracks were taken from the preproduction recordings for Reticulated and this split was originally supposed to be released before that album as some kind of a teaser. Well, if Emeth were hoping to appeal to their fan base with material that sounds like this, they should have known better. Then you have two live songs, which add insult to injury as they are damn near inaudible. I almost feel cheated here, but to maintain some objectivity for the sake of their songs that have previously or rather afterwards been established as good, they get a rating of 5.0 that is not too degrading. <5.0>

After Internal Bleeding, Eternal Suffering, Internal Suffering come Eternal Bleeding to further discombobulate the poor listener. Fortunately, the music of this club-wielders is good enough for you to forgive them for that. And for the fact that they almost end up salvaging this split.
In stark contrast with Nescientia, the music on Bleed with Me sounds resonant, chunky, solid and yet clear; and bearing such a sound, even the most sullen-natured listener would start taking keen interest in their music. Opener “Malediction” wins you over right away, a standard vigorously brutal and technical Eternal Bleeding song with squealing harmonics, but having a lovely undercurrent of Morbid Angel that brings to mind their countrymen Dementor. After that they start getting indulgent, playing increasingly technical music similar to Sanatorium circa Goresoaked Reincarnation and even exude their kind of sickness with help from their vokill department. Thankfully, Eternal Bleeding don't get lost scampering through the sinuous structures of their songs and know when to slow down and provide agreeable catchy parts akin to Septycal Gorge, or toss in a hefty breakdown after providing a suitable build-up for it. This way, in spite of their blazing technicality, they are able to keep their music involving, for the most part anyway.
Eternal Bleeding display tremendous potential on this release. With their kind of technical prowess and brutal conduct, if they can emphasize on the Morbid Angel-esque darkness and riff-oriented content of their music, they will find themselves dominating the brutal death metal scene. <7.7>
