There should be a new sub-genre, something awesome and good...Ganadub Metal* Wait, that's too fucking awesome that I think people won't be able to comprehend that awesomeness of that word and people's brains would just implode into a swirling vortex. Something simple and super sucio excellento at the same time...AWESOME METAL!!! I want to coin that term and hereby give the new sub-genre to Genghis Tron. What? You never heard of them? Well, that really sucks for you, but no worries this is why I'm doing this, so I can EDvMoCaTe you folks. Imagine cheesy 80's synth pop, blasting grindcore, metalcore breakdowns and symphonic freezing grim passages, put it all together and you get one unique as fuck release. This is incredibly catchy, you'll be humming along in no time and then from doing the robot to destroying your room by moshing under 10 seconds. Like Cephalic Carnage, Genghis Tron juxtapose many different kind of styles in their songs. But just because the songs are juxtaposed that doesn't mean are all jumbled, on the contrary, this has so much incredible flow that you won't notice it.

Three songs from their demo 'Laser Bitch' were re-recorded plus with two new songs. Very little things were changed from the demo to this EP, only two or three samples were altered and the song title "Penultimate just means second to last, you pretentious fuck" was changed to "Ride the Steambolt". Which other band would have a Negura Bunget style tapping riffs with a sexXxy beat behind it and blast out to a Brutal Truth style brutality then end the song with a Meshuggah type breakdown? None. Of course this band uses a drum machine and if you also have a problem with that, tough shit. Anyways the things done here can not be done by a person. These guys have to be witnessed live, so fucking tight and just intense. Plus with the other new songs, holy fuck, they blow these songs out of the water!

You might be thinking "Oh man, this sounds fucking gay, only a faggot could ever like this..." well, I bet you're the same moron who couldn't handle the latest Last Days of Humanity EP [review here]. SHUT UP! And if you're one of those people who are too "METAL" to listen beyond the cannibalistic realm of rehashed metal, well, that fucking sucks for you because you're missing out on something perfectly unique. Just listen and give it a try, you never know, you might smile.
