Today kids, we're going to learn how to produce an enjoyable, but not quite astounding death metal record with little more than a few basic ingredients that, however well known and widely used, still make for a good listening experience.

First, you take two parts Deranged, one part Repugnant, and stir lightly with 1 cup relatively unknown (to me, anyway) death metal vocalist, bring to a fast boil, while lightly sprinkling the metal mixture with 1/2 cup of one "well known studio engineer". In the interest of saving time, don't forget to use your leftover Deranged riffs! Also, you can substitute skanks for blastbeats for just a slight taste of monotony. That sounds like Killaman to me. It you did everything right, the end product will come off as a sort of Deranged -light, minus the gore-filled lyrical lasagna and blastbeat buffet. Not a new recipe altogether, but a different twist on an old favorite. Like 'Plainfield Cemetery' pie topped with chunky thrash goodness.

This hearty Death Metal dish is served up with a stout production and lots of tasty breakdown morsels that will go over well with a hard to please crowd. Deranged fans will find this especially delectable, as the recipes for both are near-identical. However, as with the aforementioned dish, repeatedly gorging on these flavorful death metal dumplings can leave you a bit.... full, and ready to try something else.
